What Is a Backorder?

A backorder occurs when a product is out of stock at the time of purchase but is expected to be restocked and shipped at a later date.

Backorder Notification

  • If an item is on backorder, this information will be communicated at the time of purchase or shortly after the order is placed.

  • Customers will be notified by email with updated availability and estimated shipping time.

Payment for Backorders

  • Payment is typically collected at the time the order is placed.

  • By placing a backorder, you agree to wait for the item to become available.

Estimated Shipping Time

  • Estimated shipping dates for backordered items are not guaranteed and may change due to supplier or shipping delays.

  • We will keep you informed of any significant changes.

Partial Shipments

  • If your order includes both in-stock and backordered items, we may ship available items first and send the remaining items once they are back in stock, at no additional shipping cost.

Cancellations

  • If you do not wish to wait for a backordered item, you may request to cancel the backordered portion of your order for a refund before it ships.

  • Once a backordered item has shipped, standard return policies apply.
